It cannot tell you an address is reachable
The site never opens a connection to any address, so it has nothing to report. There is no uptime figure, no response time, no status indicator and no last checked date anywhere on it.
The reason is not laziness. A reachability check made here would describe one machine on one network at one moment. Your machine, your network and your moment are all different, and the gap between them grows every second the page sits in a cache. Publishing that as a status would be presenting a stale, unverifiable, unrepeatable observation as a current fact, which is the shape of most of the misinformation in this area.
It cannot tell you an address is genuine
Authenticity is a question about publication history and about who you trust. It is not a property of characters, and no amount of counting reaches it. Every check on this site is passed by any correctly generated address, including one generated by somebody who wants to be believed.
The strongest honest statement available is the negative one. Nothing about these twelve strings looks wrong.
